Appellate Practice

Our appellate practice ranges over the legal spectrum. Over sixty of our cases have been reported. Additionally, in the area of criminal defense, we have frequently filed Amicus Briefs, on behalf of the National Association and the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, on issues generally affecting the administration of criminal justice. Civil Litigation

Our civil practice has ranged over a broad area, from civil liberties cases, to wrongful death, personal injury and malpractice actions, to complex business litigation. We have reached favorable results for our clients through negotiation and settlement, mediation and arbitration, and jury trial.

Family Law

Our family law practice includes divorce cases which typically involve complex disputes where substantial family and business assets, are at stake. We also have wide experience in custody cases, including matters involving interstate and international issues, as well as disputes involving the rights of foster parents and pre-adoptive parents.
